Sean Driscoll Bio

ean Driscoll moved to Williamsburg with his family in 1972. He attended WJCC public schools and went on to graduate from Washington and Lee University in 1989 with a degree in history. After working in sales and management for two Fortune 500 companies, the opportunity to move back to his hometown arose and he and his wife Margaret, eagerly accepted. Sean has been in the investment business for 12 years, currently as Vice President, Investments, Towne Bank.
In 2006, he was appointed to the Planning Commission and has worked diligently at balancing the needs of a growing community with the desire to maintain the special qualities that make Williamsburg unique.
Sean also is involved in the community civically. He is currently on the Board of Big Brothers/Big Sisters, the Development Committee of Child Development Resources (CDR), Board Member, Volunteer Williamsburg.Org, Williamsburg Rotary Club and is active in church.
Sean and his wife, Margaret, an Atlanta native, are the proud parents of two children.
As a City Council member, Sean will bring balanced, sound decision making and thoughtful consideration to the important issues that our city faces as it continues to grow.
