Williamsburg-James City County school superintendent takes job in Georgia
Williamsburg-James City County Schools Superintendent Gary Mathews was hired Wednesday to be head of Newton County, Ga., public schools.
Mathews -- who has led W-JCC Schools for five years -- will assume his new role on July 1. He will replace the Georgia division's current superintendent who plans to retire on June 30, 2010. [Daily Press]
